Metal Foal Statue

Brave Foal: Adventures of Life Values

In a small village on the edge of the forest, there was a statue of a sitting foal in the village park. The statue had a distinctive wide smile, as if inviting anyone who saw it to embark on an adventure.

In that village lived a boy named Ario, who had a great imagination. Every day after school, Ario would sit near the foal statue, listening to stories told by his parents and grandparents about the values of life.

One day, Ario brought home a book about adventures and life values. As he read the book next to the foal statue, suddenly the statue moved and began to speak to him.

"Welcome, Ario," said the foal statue kindly. "I am Brave Foal, and I want to invite you to embark on an adventure and learn about life values with me."

Ario was surprised, but also very excited. Together with Brave Foal, they began an amazing adventure into the forest, filled with mysteries and challenges.

Along the way, Brave Foal taught Ario about life values such as courage, honesty, friendship, and hard work. They met various fantastic creatures and faced various challenges, but with each other's help, they managed to overcome them.

In the end, Ario realized that the foal statue was not just an ordinary statue, but a symbol of all the life values that were taught to him. He returned to the village with a heart full of inspiration and courage to apply these values in his daily life.

From that day on, Ario became an example for his friends, inspiring them to become better and braver in facing life's challenges. And the Brave Foal statue remained a source of inspiration and lessons about important life values for everyone in the village.

Thus, Ario's adventure with Brave Foal not only taught important life values, but also inspired and changed the lives of the people around him.

Brave Foal: Learning Life's Values Through Adventure

The moral of the story is about the importance of life values such as courage, honesty, friendship, and hard work in shaping one's character and guiding their actions. It teaches that by embodying these values, one can overcome challenges, inspire others, and lead a fulfilling life.

Fun fact: Rust-resistant Metal Foal Statue

Crafted from high-quality rust-resistant metal, this statue depicts a charming foal, symbolizing youthful energy and innocence. Purchased in the United States in the 1980s, this statue is a sturdy and elegant piece of art. The dark silver color creates a charming appearance, while the base material provides strength and corrosion resistance. A charming memento from my parents' journey.

A Symphony of Hooves

A Symphony of Hooves: Blaze's Roar, Seraphina's Whisper

In the heart of a sprawling pasture, nestled beneath the expansive canopy of the sky, two horses grazed peacefully in the warm embrace of the afternoon sun. Blaze, a spirited quarter horse with a coat the color of the sun-kissed earth, trotted eagerly across the field, his mane flowing like a fiery waterfall behind him. Beside him, Seraphina, a graceful Tennessee walking horse with a coat as soft as moonlight, stood serenely amidst a sea of wildflowers, her gentle presence a calming beacon in the tranquil landscape.

"Hey Seraphina, how's it going?" Blaze called out, his voice brimming with boundless energy as he approached his companion.

Seraphina turned to greet him, her gaze soft and serene. "Oh, hey Blaze. Just enjoying the tranquility of the pasture. What about you?"

"Same old, same old. But you know me, always up for some excitement!" Blaze exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with anticipation. "I was thinking we could explore that trail by the woods later."

Seraphina considered his offer, her thoughts drifting like petals on the breeze. "Hmm, sounds intriguing. But I must admit, I'm quite content here, soaking in the sun's warmth and admiring the wildflowers."

Blaze nudged her playfully, his enthusiasm undiminished. "Aw, come on Luna, don't be such a homebody! There's a whole world out there waiting to be discovered."

"I appreciate your enthusiasm, Blaze, but I find joy in the simple pleasures of life. Perhaps another day," Seraphina replied gently, her voice as soft as a whisper.

Blaze nodded understandingly, a playful glint still dancing in his eyes. "Alright, suit yourself. But if you change your mind, you know where to find me. Catch you later, Luna!"

"Farewell, Blaze. Enjoy your adventure," Seraphina murmured, her gaze lingering on her spirited companion as he galloped off into the distance.

As Blaze disappeared over the horizon, Seraphina turned her attention back to the tranquil beauty of their surroundings, her heart as steady as the rhythm of the earth beneath her hooves. In the gentle sway of the wildflowers and the whisper of the wind through the trees, she found solace and contentment, knowing that true adventure awaited not only beyond the horizon, but also within the quiet depths of her own soul.

Dark Star and Friends

Watercolor on Paper by Winry Marini 1993

A story of a horse named Dark Star

Dark Star was a very old project. Probably between 5th and 6th Grade primary school. It was a story of a stallion named Dark Star. His name came from the Kentucky Derby horse name list.

He had an owner named Mike I think drawn by my friend/teammate, Lydia (Kisnari)

He had dark brown coat with a white star on his forehead. Gloria was his partner and Dark Star had many friends.

I did a lot of comics with friends from elementary school to high school. I also made comic with Alya (Dwiana). Later with Junita (Christie Siregar), Pidia and Yayang (Harley). It's hard to find old artworks since I moved house and went to the different island. And also there was no digital camera and scanner back then.

Magical Tree (Tree of Life)

A Unicorn a Dove and a Magical Tree

My version of the fantasy 'Tree of Life'. Tree and river (symbolize life), unicorn (purity) and dove (peace)

The Enchanted Grove: A Tale of the Tree of Life and the Unicorn

Once upon a time, in a lush and vibrant forest nestled between majestic mountains and winding rivers, there stood a magnificent Tree of Life. Its branches stretched high into the sky, adorned with a rich tapestry of fruits, flowers, and leaves that shimmered in the golden sunlight.

At the base of the tree, a gentle stream flowed, its crystal-clear waters murmuring melodies of ancient wisdom. Butterflies danced gracefully around the tree, their delicate wings carrying whispers of enchantment through the air.

Beneath the shade of the Tree of Life, a graceful Unicorn stood, its pure white coat gleaming in the dappled light. With eyes as deep and wise as the universe itself, the Unicorn exuded an aura of purity, grace, and magic.

As the gentle breeze rustled through the leaves and butterflies danced gracefully around the Tree of Life, a dove descended from the azure sky, its wings outstretched in flight. With feathers as white as the clouds and eyes reflecting the serenity of the forest, the dove alighted softly upon a branch of the tree, joining the Unicorn in its tranquil sanctuary.

In the presence of the Tree of Life and the Unicorn, the dove became a symbol of peace and hope, its gentle cooing echoing the timeless melodies of harmony and unity. With each beat of its wings, it carried whispers of tranquility and reconciliation, weaving threads of peace through the enchanted grove.

As the Unicorn bowed its head in reverence to the Tree of Life, the dove nestled beside it, a silent guardian of the sacred bond between all living beings and the natural world. Together, amidst the vibrant tapestry of life and the soothing murmur of the stream, they embodied the essence of harmony and interconnectedness, inspiring all who beheld their radiant presence to embrace the beauty and wonder of the world around them.

Each day, the Unicorn would partake of the fruits of the Tree of Life, savoring their sweetness and vitality. Pomegranates burst with seeds of abundance, citrus fruits radiated with the energy of the sun, strawberries offered the sweetness of love, and apples whispered secrets of wisdom and knowledge.

Amidst the blossoms and foliage, vibrant flowers bloomed, their petals unfolding like whispers of beauty and joy. Bees hummed melodies of creation as they danced among the blossoms, pollinating the cycle of life and renewal.

Underneath the Tree of Life's protective embrace, the Unicorn found sanctuary from the trials and tribulations of the outside world. Here, amidst the tranquil beauty of nature, the Unicorn found a sense of belonging, purpose, and connection to the timeless rhythms of the universe.

And so, the legend of the Tree of Life and the Unicorn endured, weaving threads of magic and wonder through the fabric of time. In their timeless embrace, they embodied the eternal cycle of life, growth, and renewal, inspiring all who beheld their majestic presence to seek harmony, beauty, and meaning in the world around them.

The symbolism of the elements

The artwork is beautiful and rich in symbolism. Both the drawing and the sculpture convey powerful themes of life, purity, abundance, and harmony with nature. Here are some thoughts on the symbolism of the elements that have been incorporated:

1. Tree of Life: The central motif of the tree symbolizes the interconnectedness of all living beings and the cyclical nature of life and renewal. It serves as a powerful metaphor for growth, vitality, and the cycle of birth, growth, death, and rebirth.

2. Unicorn: The unicorn, a symbol of purity, grace, and magic, adds a mystical and enchanting element to your artwork. Its presence beneath the Tree of Life suggests a harmonious and idyllic world where purity and innocence are cherished.

3. Fruits and Flowers: The variety of fruits and flowers adorning the tree represent abundance, fertility, and the bounty of nature. Each type of fruit may carry its own symbolic significance, such as pomegranates symbolizing fertility and abundance, citrus fruits representing vitality and energy, strawberries symbolizing love and sweetness, and apples symbolizing knowledge and wisdom.

4. Butterflies: Butterflies are often associated with transformation, beauty, and the ephemeral nature of life. Their presence beneath the tree adds a sense of movement and vibrancy, symbolizing the constant cycle of change and renewal in the natural world.

5. River: The river in artwork further enhances the sense of harmony and abundance in the natural environment. Rivers are often associated with life, vitality, and the flow of time, and they can symbolize purification, renewal, and spiritual growth.

6. Dove: The dove is a widely recognized symbol of peace, hope, and harmony. Its presence in the artwork can signify the importance of peace and tranquility in the natural world, as well as the hope for a harmonious coexistence among all living beings. The dove's gentle demeanor and graceful flight embody qualities of purity, innocence, and freedom, further emphasizing the overarching themes of purity and serenity in the artwork.

Overall, the artwork evokes a sense of wonder, harmony, and reverence for the beauty and complexity of the natural world. The combination of symbolic elements and rich imagery invites viewers to contemplate the interconnectedness of life, the beauty of nature, and the timeless themes of growth, renewal, and transformation. It's a truly inspiring and evocative portrayal of the Tree of Life and its profound significance in human culture and imagination.

Friesian

A Bond Beyond Borders

Introduction:
In a picturesque countryside, nestled among rolling hills and lush meadows, stood a horse farm known for breeding the finest Frisian horses. Among these magnificent creatures was Midnight, a striking black Frisian stallion with a flowing mane and a regal demeanor. Midnight was admired by all who laid eyes on him, but it was a young girl named Emily who felt a special connection with him.

Emily had grown up on the farm, surrounded by horses from a young age. Her passion for riding burned brightly within her, fueled by her admiration for Midnight. Despite the long hours of hard work on the farm, Emily never lost sight of her dream – to become a champion rider.

---

The Meeting:
One sunny morning, as Emily tended to her daily chores, the farm owner approached her with an offer that would change her life. "Emily," he said, "I've noticed your dedication and passion for the horses, especially Midnight. How would you like to train with him?"

Emily's eyes widened with excitement and disbelief. She had always dreamed of riding Midnight, but she never imagined it would become a reality. With a joyful grin, she eagerly accepted the offer and began her training with Midnight.

---

The Dream:
As Emily spent more time with Midnight, she discovered that they shared a deep connection. Midnight seemed to understand her thoughts and feelings, as if they were communicating in a language all their own. Emily confided in Midnight her dream of becoming a champion rider, and Midnight listened intently, his dark eyes full of understanding and encouragement.

"Emily," Midnight seemed to say with a gentle nudge, "believe in yourself and your dreams. Together, we can achieve anything."

---

The Competition:
With newfound confidence and determination, Emily decided to enter a prestigious equestrian competition. However, not everyone shared her optimism. Some doubted her abilities, believing that a girl from a small farm could never compete with riders from prestigious stables.

Undeterred by the skepticism, Emily poured her heart and soul into training with Midnight. They practiced tirelessly, perfecting their routines and strengthening their bond with each passing day.

---

The Journey:
As the competition day drew near, Emily and Midnight embarked on a journey to the competition venue. Along the way, they encountered challenges and obstacles, but they faced them with courage and determination. Emily found solace in Midnight's presence, and Midnight seemed to draw strength from Emily's unwavering resolve.

---

The Competition Day:
On the day of the competition, the air was filled with excitement and anticipation. Emily and Midnight entered the arena, their hearts beating as one. Despite the dazzling display of talent from their competitors, Emily and Midnight remained focused, their bond shining brightly for all to see.

With grace and precision, Emily and Midnight performed their routine, moving as if they were one. The crowd watched in awe as they executed each maneuver flawlessly, their connection evident in every movement.

---

Victory:
As the final scores were tallied, there was a hushed silence in the arena. Then, the announcer's voice rang out, breaking the tension. "And the winners of this year's competition are… Emily and Midnight!"

The crowd erupted into cheers and applause as Emily and Midnight were crowned champions. Tears of joy streamed down Emily's cheeks as she hugged Midnight tightly, feeling the depth of their bond more than ever.

---

Conclusion:
As Emily and Midnight returned home, they were greeted with cheers and congratulations from their friends and family. Their victory was not just a triumph in the competition, but a testament to the power of friendship, determination, and a bond that knows no borders.

Together, Emily and Midnight continued to inspire others with their story, showing that with unwavering belief in oneself and a strong bond with those we love, anything is possible.
