The Perfume of the Forgotten

🌸 A whimsical journey where fragrance stirs lost memories and forgotten loves.

Liana Moreau, an aspiring but reclusive perfumer, inherits her grandmother's charming, little boutique nestled at the edge of a lush, enchanted forest. The shop, quaint and full of mystery, has been closed for years, and Liana finds herself drawn to it despite her quiet nature. As she explores the neglected corners of the boutique, she discovers an antique glass vial marked "Eau de Bauhinia", along with an old recipe tucked into the folds of a velvet cloth. The instructions seem oddly poetic, with each word feeling more like a riddle than a recipe.

Intrigued, Liana sets about recreating the fragrance, guided by a sense of deep, almost instinctive longing. She finds herself immersed in a series of peculiar dreams as the perfume takes shape—a fantastical world where trees hum, flowers glow with soft light, and distant voices sing her name. The more she blends the ingredients, the stronger the visions grow.

On the night she completes the perfume, Liana wears it for the first time. The moment the scent touches her skin, the room transforms. The walls fade away, and she finds herself walking through a magical garden, bathed in moonlight. A figure appears—a man with soft, glowing eyes and a familiar smile. His voice echoes in her mind, calling her “Elara,” a name she does not remember but feels strangely connected to.

As the scent of the Bauhinia flower fills the air, Liana realizes she’s living a story that isn’t just hers—it's a tale of love, magic, and memory that has long been forgotten by time. The perfume she created is more than a fragrance; it’s a portal to another world, a place where forgotten loves and lost memories linger like soft wisps in the breeze.

But the perfume isn’t finished with her yet. With each wear, Liana is drawn deeper into this whimsical realm, where the line between dream and reality begins to blur. Alongside her mysterious companion, Caius, who seems to exist both in the real world and the dream realm, she must uncover the secret behind their connection—and why it’s been hidden away in the perfume for so long.
