D is for Desert Rose
Latin name: Adenium obesum
In arid lands where sunbeams blaze,
The Desert Rose blooms in fiery haze.
With petals pink or red, like flames they glow,
In sands so hot, where desert winds blow.
In desert oases, where life is sparse,
The Desert Rose thrives, a work of art.
Its succulent leaves, so green and lush,
Contrast with flowers, a vibrant blush.
With each passing day, it bravely stands,
In harsh conditions, across the lands.
A symbol of resilience, it proudly grows,
Amidst the sands, where little else shows.
So let us admire, this flower rare,
The Desert Rose, beyond compare.
For in its bloom, we find a sight,
Of beauty and strength, in desert light.
