I is for Iris
Latin name: Iris spp.
In gardens bright, where colors bloom,
The Iris stands, dispelling gloom.
With petals bold, in hues so grand,
It paints the day across the land.
In shades of purple, blue, and gold,
The Iris blooms, a sight to behold.
Its slender petals, like wings they soar,
In gardens fair, forevermore.
With each passing day, it takes its place,
A symbol of grace and gentle grace.
Its blooms may fade, but its spirit stays,
In hearts and gardens, through nights and days.
So let us honor, this flower divine,
The Iris, in its grand design.
For in its bloom, we find a clue,
To beauty and grace, both old and new.
