L is for Lavender
Latin name: Lavandula spp.
In fields of purple, where breezes blow,
The Lavender blooms, a calming show.
With flowers fragrant, in hues of blue,
In gardens fair, where dreams come true.
In rows they stand, like soldiers bold,
Their scent so sweet, like stories old.
Their petals soft, like velvet they sway,
In gentle winds, throughout the day.
With each new dawn, they greet the sun,
A symbol of peace, for everyone.
Their blooms may fade, but their fragrance stays,
In hearts and minds, through nights and days.
So let us linger, in Lavender's charm,
In gardens calm, and free from harm.
For in its bloom, we find a clue,
To tranquility and joy, both old and new.
