S is for Sunflower
Latin name: Helianthus annuus
In fields of gold, where sunshine beams,
The Sunflower blooms, a sight it seems.
With petals bright, like rays they shine,
In gardens fair, where dreams align.
In shades of yellow, gold, and brown,
The Sunflower blooms, with petals round.
Its face like the sun, so warm and bright,
In gardens bold, where dreams take flight.
With each new dawn, it faces east,
A symbol of hope, where dreams release.
Its blooms may fade, but its spirit's high,
In hearts and fields, beneath the sky.
So let us bask, in its golden glow,
The Sunflower, in gardens low.
For in its bloom, we find a clue,
To joy and warmth, both old and new.
